Our goal was to design and construct a jacket for the Denim & Supply brand segment of Ralph Lauren, while analyzing the brand and focusing on a specific consumer. We were given a piece of rabbit fur that was required to be incorporated into the jacket.
CONSUMER: A 20-25 year old male student studying biology, located in Cologne, Germany, and is financially supported by his parents. He has a creative lifestyle and enjoys expressing himself through art and music when he is not concentrating on his studies. He also enjoys a cold beer with his friends in his free time. He wears stylish, yet functional clothing that is high quality and will last for multiple seasons.
CONCEPT: Since the consumer is a biology student, we went with an "under the microscope" approach, and focused on closeups of images that show symmetry.
